A day in real life.

Thursday we took some trips to two entirely different companies to see how they were run and what kind of work they had done.

The first company we visited was Anabliss, a company small in size, but definitely not in ways of work. They have done some really amazing work and for large companies, including our very own CU Denver. I was really excited to visit Anabliss as I love branding and print work, and as Matt Coffman, the president of this exciting company mentioned, print is something that is sadly going down in production. One of the things I loved about Anabliss was the close knit type of family they seem to be, they get their work done without the corporate high stress.

The next place we visited was Ironton Studios, which I had heard the name very often and was interested in finding out what this studio was all about. I found out it's basically a huge studio where people can rent out area's to do their work in and they rotate out this gallery they have to showcase people's work. It was a really artistic place, you could almost feel this vibe. I liked the idea that they would show you work for free in this gallery, you have to book in advance but it's definintely something to keep an eye on for the future.

Both companies were really different from eachother, but both gave me different insights to what kind of places I would like to work and how they are run. I'm really thankful that they welcomed us into their studios and took the time out of their schedule to show us around. I look forward to more trips to exciting companies like this in the future!
